Arriving in the East Bay by way of Algeria, France and Luxembourg, Nafissa had a desire to share not only her passion, but a philosophy that every woman can take true delight in celebrating her own beauty. Nestled in the heart of Berkeley’s famed Fourth Street promenade, A La Folie is an intimate boutique offering a hand-picked assortment of fine lingerie, cozy loungewear, parfums, artisan jewelry and other boudoir accoutrements. Within its chocolate walls, you will be greeted warmly and invited to treat your senses to a sumptuous array of treasures.

Whether an A or an H, our friendly and knowledgeable staff is pleased to assist you with an expert fitting during any visit so that you may take your time to discover the perfect Bra. If the occasion calls for something particular, our basics are anything but. We offer convertible bras for the plunging, the backless and the strapless, slimming underpinnings with invisible seams, and hosiery for every occasion.

If you're treating yourself to something fabulously luxe, we are pleased to provide special orders for difficult-to-find items and sizes. Additionally, we are happy to assist you in building the fundamentals of your boudoir according to your distinct needs and desires. When choosing a gift for someone special, anything from a soft silk robe to a gift certificate will be beautifully wrapped in chocolate brown and raspberry and wax sealed, ready to delight the recipient. Selecting a bridal trousseau or hosting a shower can also be accommodated as we provide both registry and private, after-hours parties complete with our signature Rose Champagne cocktails.
